There is a Korean Town at Strathfield in Sydney which is placed in the west of Sydney downtown. But if you think it would be quite a bit grand area, then your expectation might be wrong. The area may be centered within the radius of 1km, largely close to the Starthfield Station. You can see a lot of grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and pharmacists.. When the World Cup competition had been progressing in 2010, most korean Sydney residents got together and cheered for Korean National Soccer team in Strathfield. If you are new comers in Sydney, I recommend this gorgeous Korean Town as your favorite tour lists.

Weather of Sydney
The weather of Sydney is somewhat oceanic climate because Sydney is adjacent to the Tasmanian sea. As you know, the weather is opposite to that of the northern hemisphere. Winter comes between May and July, and summer starts around November. The temperature of winter is not so cold that the heating system of house is not usuallly equipped. Hence, there is no snow in Sydney. When summer comes up, the sun is so strong that it is impossible to go out without sun-proof cream. The temperature rises approximately over 40 degree celsius. We are very accustomed to occasional rain showers, so it is necessary to prepare an umbrella to go out. Moderate coldness and great heat are the right words to represent the features of the weather of Sydney.

This scene is from the family park nearby Putney. This park has barbeque facilities with which people can cook or grill pork or beef with no charges. Every holiday, lots of people are getting around these sorts of park, they can enjoy sports activities and relieve their stresses.

Streets in Sydney
This picture shows the normal scenery of a residential street. A small size boat is shown on the left side of the street. Vehicles can be parked at roadside only in the direction of the traffic, otherwise, it will be fined by rangers. This is not a busy street in the center of Sydney. The center of Sydney is called as "CBD". Like other metropolitan cities in the world, the streets of CBD are always crowded with people and vehicles. However, residential streets are normally quite and clean.

Inside of the cityrail(subway)
Australian subways have lots of seats for commuters, so they can be seated all the time except for rush hours. Also, the chairs are convertible, anyone can change the direction of chairs in the way they want. As the population of Sydney has increased gradually, the expansion of public transfortation become a big issue not only pollies but also commuters. The increasing time of deadlock on the road resultes in Aussie's angers, so the most important policy of government lies in solving this problem wisely, but which would be needed lots of money.

What is TAFE in Australia?
TAFE means Technical And Further Education same as "Jeon-moon Daehak" in Korea. Meadowbank TAFE is near by my residence. TAFE is running a variety of classese such as Carpenters, Builders and so on. It is very helpful for career or job finders because curriculums are so much practical that graduates can effectively apply their knowledges into real businesses. Also, for early immigrants, English courses are open in almost TAFEs in NSW. Tution fees are variable according to the features or degrees of courses, but normally it tends to be increased by the levels of classes. Higher a class is, more expensive!
